NATIONAL CONSUMER ISSUES

From time to time, State and Territory consumer and fair trading authorities release Reviews and Discussion Papers that affect consumers issues at a national level. Submissions are frequently sought and, together with the Reviews and Discussion Papers, will be made available on the ACT Office of Fair Trading website.

National Indigenous Consumer Action Plan - closing date for comments is 28 February 2005.

Property Investment Advice Discussion Paper - Department of Tourism, Fair Trading & Wine Industry Development, Queensland.

M-Commerce Paper for stakeholder consultation - Consumer Affairs Victoria.

Unfair Contract Terms - Comments were sought on an unfair contract terms discussion paper released by the Standing Committee of Officials of Consumer Affairs (SCOCA) national working party.
